Submit Your Work to the Podcast

Every week, agents will have access to the full bank of submissions (submit below!). Each agent will choose the submission that shows the most promise.

The one paragraph summary and opening will be read on the podcast. The agent guest will then share what they liked about the submission, what worked for them and why. A marked up copy of your opener will be available for download. After the podcast, you will be able to submit your full manuscript for their review!

Whether you are selected for this show or not, it is not a reflection on the quality of your work. The world of publishing is a difficult road riddled with polite passes. Don’t get discouraged! Control what you can and improve your craft.

Submitting to Thriller 101 podcast will automatically put you on our email list. You can unsubscribe any time!

There will likely be a date when older submissions are removed to make room for new ones. An email will be sent out alerting people of the turn over with an invitation to resubmit and move your submission back to the top of the list!

Note

  • Should you sign with an agent, publisher, or self-publish (Congratulations!), please notify me via email so I can remove your submission.
  • Unfortunately, we can not accept resubmissions or amendments to submissions at this time. Make sure your work is as polished as it can be (This does NOT apply to different projects!)
  • By submitting to the podcast, you’re giving Thriller 101 permission to share your work solely for educational purpose on the Podcast and YouTube channel.

My goal with this podcast is to help you land a literary agent! Whether that means you learn from the interviews and improve as a writer, or get a full request from an agent through the show’s unique Thriller 101 Literary Agent Pitch Contest.

To land an agent, you need a phenomenal opening. And the reality of traditional publishing is that agents have limited time with each submission. You need to hook them. And fast! This podcast is all about grabbing an agents (and readers) attention with your opener.
